Project Management
We have been heavily involved with a number of projects involving upgrades or changes to hotel systems. It is essential that things are done properly from the beginning including application configuration, networking environments and liaising between suppliers.
If your property is considering a change or implementation of a Property Management System, Sales & Catering, Point of Sale, Revenue Management System, CRS / GDS or many other types of hotel systems, Bamboo Revenue can act as a project manager. We will:
- Provide a full Gant style project plan showing critical paths, milestones & deadlines.
- Liaise with your teams to ensure all of their requirements have been taken into account
- Recommend and work with all of the various suppliers
- Assist and direct with the configuration of the systems using our own team’s skilled expertise in the different areas.
- Ensure the systems are working properly and efficiently following the Go Live processes.
Property Management Systems (PMS)
We work with most of the major Property Management Systems including the Micros Fidelio products (Fidelio V6, V7, V8 & Express; Opera 2.5, 3.0 & 4.0; Protel PMS (HQ & MPE); Portfolio etc.) and understand how the systems work from the day to day front office & reservations use, to the financials and configuration.
We can recommend and advise on the best systems that will work for your property and if necessary perform a PMS assessment/comparisons between a shortlist of systems
Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
We have worked with most of the major CRS / GDS suppliers including TRUST, Pegasus, WizCom, Synxis, XN Global as well as some of the chain systems such as MARSHA. We can update and review GDS and online content and project manage and GDS supplier changes.
Revenue Management Systems (RMS)
We have worked with the main suppliers of RMS’s including IDeaS, Optims & EasyRMS. We can help with the decision of system and can work with the properties on the installation, configuration and integration with the PMS & GDS.
Channel Management Systems
With hotels working with a number of different online reservation providers (Expedia, Orbitz, Lastminute etc) it becomes more and more important for hotels to provide rate parity across different channels. A channel manager can help simplify this whole process and a single entry of availability and rates can be sent to multiple sites in one action. Bamboo have worked with a number of leading channel management systems and recommend one that will suit the property’s needs.
