Before our visit, we can make a series of checks on your hotel with the eyes and ears of a customer to see how your property is viewed from the public domain. Analysis will comprise reservation test calls, a look at your online presence and how your pricing compares against your competitors.

Reservations Test Calls

We have teamed up with IFH Worldwide, experts in hotel benchmarking and mystery shopping.  A series of mystery shopping calls will be made to your property prior to our visit.  Each call is scored against a list of minimum standards expected for your class of hotel and quickly identifies what areas need particular attention.

Online Presence

A hotels online presence is one of the most important areas that a marketing department should concentrate on.  These areas are often they key reasons for a customer making the decision to book your property.  A hotel's online presence includes:

  • Hotel's own website
  • Third party websites
  • CRS & GDS Content
  • Representation companies content

We will carefully look through as many channels as we can find and report back any strengths or weaknesses.

Competitor Research

Your competitors are vitally important to your business and having a handle on what they are doing, or how they are represented is essential for success.  We will try to assess your competitive set and see where they outperform you and suggest what action you can take to improve.
